SENIOR PERSONEL
Barry W.T. Black Quality Assurance / Project Manager
Served 18 years in R.N. and R.A.N. on Nuclear and Conventional Submarines. Left the service in 1989 to join Dawson Industries as Field Engineer managing Defence related projects. Moved onto Madco Engineering as Defence Manager, during this time gained experience in Commercial sector for companies such as Woodside Offshore Petroleum, United Construction and GEC Alsthom.
In 1992 formed own Business and moved into sub-contracting. Worked for Defence related and Commercial companies such as B.P. (Turbine Division) and Transfield Shipbuilding (W.A.) as Weapons Supervisor (Submarine) and Trials Engineer (Kuwait Patrol Boats) and Australian Safety Engineers (Supervisor S.E.T.F. air purification modules).
As well as managing defence and commercial projects, implemented and maintains the Quality Assurance System which was approved by Det Norske Veritas.
Paul Lambert Project Manager
Recently worked with ASC Pty Ltd as Special Projects Manager, Paul has a diversified background having been employed in the past by Western Mining, Fran Marine and Portland Aluminium. Paul has been with BHS since 1999 his prime responsibilities include costing, budget control, project personnel requirements, scheduling, authorization of project material acquisition and Customer liaison.
David Maher Project Supervisors
David controls a workforce of 12 fitters / machinists. His prime responsibilities are to ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with stated requirements utilizing personnel with appropriate skills, reporting schedule progress, emergent requirements and control of project documentation. David is ably supported by dedicated leading hands.
